As with spiral balance, slide and tilt sash windows operate via pre-tensioned springs, but with the additional function of tilting inwards, to facilitate safe cleaning and maintenance. With slide and tilt, classical style meets modern practicality to stunning effect.
Safe and easy cleaning
‘Choices’ Slide and Tilt are traditional looking box design vertical sliding windows with double-hung sliding sashes.
The double glazed sashes slide by means of modern pre-tensioned springs on either side which, in addition, allow the sashes to tilt solving an age-old problem by creating safe cleaning and maintenance from inside the room, whilst retaining high levels of craftsmanship and beauty.
