CWG Open Day Brings the Industry Together
Blue skies, bacon butties, business friends, and a calendar date we always look forward to the trip to Corby for CWG’s annual Open Day has become something of a tradition for the Clearview and Pro Installer team. Now on our fifth visit, it is an event that consistently delivers, both in terms of insight and atmosphere.
The day delivered exactly what it set out to do. It was a hands-on, forward-looking showcase of the products and innovations shaping 2026, giving visitors the chance to explore the latest ranges up close. From the moment doors opened, it was clear this year’s event had struck a chord across the industry.
“I’ve received amazing feedback from customers and suppliers since the event,” said Sales Director Dean Hague. “There was a real buzz throughout the day, and you could see just how valuable it was for everyone who attended.”

A Showcase Built Around 2026 Innovation
Visitors were given full access to CWG’s Corby manufacturing facility, with new and expanded ranges drawing significant attention.
Among the highlights were Residence Open-In Doors, the full suite of AluK aluminium systems, Kömmerling Vertical Sliders, and Solidor’s new autolock now supplied as standard by CWG. Together, they reinforced CWG’s commitment to combining performance, compliance and market-ready innovation
Alongside the core product showcase, a marquee of business affiliates and trading partners added another dimension to the day. It provided a fantastic opportunity for visitors to meet suppliers face to face, explore complementary products and strengthen existing relationships across the supply chain.
“The new products on display really resonated,” Dean continued. “We had many existing customers already looking at how they can bring additional CWG products into their offering, which is exactly what the Open Day is all about.”

New Faces, Familiar Connections
That appetite for growth was not limited to current partners. The event also welcomed a strong contingent of first-time visitors, underlining CWG’s expanding reach across the trade.
“We also saw lots of new customers joining us on the day,” Dean added. “That mix of familiar faces and new connections made for a really productive event.”
Beyond the product showcases and technical insight, the atmosphere played its part. With fantastic weather and a steady flow of visitors throughout, the mood remained upbeat and energetic from start to finish.
“The weather was fantastic and spirits were high,” said Dean. “It all came together to create a really positive environment for conversations and collaboration.”

Behind the scenes, the success of the day was driven by the collective effort of the CWG team, whose preparation ensured a seamless experience for attendees.
“A special shout out has to go to the CWG employees who made it happen,” Dean concluded. “Events like this take a huge amount of work, and the team delivered brilliantly.”
